History of Davie Glen's Bourach and the club's involvement

The club is responsible for the upkeep of a well known local landmark - Davie's Bourach on Jock's Road in Glen Doll. This was built by Davie Glen in 1966. The club carried out major repairs in 1984 and again in 1987, when it was totally re-roofed using material carried up by helicopter, and again in 2001. The last major repair was carried out in 2019.
